Lace for the Cure The Komen Foundation was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died from breast cancer at the age of 36. New Balance has been associated with the Foundation since 1989 and has been a National Series Sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure since 1991. Today, the Series is among the largest 5K runs/fitness walks in the world. New Balance is also a National Series Sponsor of the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, which benefits the Komen Foundation as well. New Balance has created a collection of high-quality performance footwear, apparel and accessories that all feature a pink ribbon, the universal symbol of breast cancer awareness. Consumers are encouraged to wear the Lace Up for the Cure Collection to honor loved ones who have been affected by the disease, to celebrate survivors and to demonstrate their support for the cause. For more information about breast health or breast cancer concerns, log on to: www.komen.org or call 1.800 I'M AWARE. Monthly Specials For July |
